Salman A Abbasi

Non-executive Director and started his banking career with Arab Bank, where he worked in Jordan and Qatar. He joined Investcorp as a member of the Management Committee in early 1988 and was General Manager of Investcorp Bahrain until 2004 when he retired. He was associated with Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. from 1967 serving for 20 years in a variety of positions both at the head office in New York and overseas. His most recent position, prior to joining Investcorp in 1988, was Vice President & Chief Executive, responsible for managing all Chase business in Africa and the Middle East. He also served concurrently as a Director on the boards of Saudi Investment Bank, an affiliate, and Chase Bank Cameroon, a subsidiary.
